BME 100 Parts and preformance
Hello I bought a BME 100 it looks to be in good condition I would like to put new rings in it does anybody know were I can get them from. This is also me first twin I plan on putting it on a 2.6 CA yak will it fly it OK>

My BME 100 has two holes tapped for #6 screws in the drive washer. Apparently you are to put two #6 machine screws in there as drive pins for the prop. Every time I put the screws in there they sheer when I run it. Whats the solution for this? I tried to leave them out and torque the prop nut to 50 ft-lbs but it has thrown the prop and I am afraid to get in front of it to start it

I can't tell what Keiths intent was for this.
What I use it for is to bolt the spinner back plate to the hub. Doing this I don't have that problem. If your propeller is not tight, you will snap off the bolts. I would recommend that you tighten the propeller nut as tight as you can. I use a wrench that is abotu 1 foot long. I tighten it until I think I will break my propeller. Peggy, I'm not sure if anyone answered the second question in your post...I'm really not sure about the 100, but I have an early BME 102 in an Aeroworks SU-31 at 27lbs. With a 26X10 Beila prop it has unlimited vertical. If you are talking about the Composite ARF YAK2.6 it is advertised at 26-27lbs. If it were me, however, I would opt for the ZDZ 100NG, the BME 110 Extreme,The DA 100 or the 3W106. I hope this helps.
