Evolution Ignition Question
1 Attachment(s)
I have an Evolution 26 for my Hangar 9 SuperCub. I had to fabricate and have welded my own muffler because nobody makes a muffler for this application withour requiring major reconstructive surgery on the fuselage. My question is...can I run the shielded ignition lead in between the exhaust stacks without it effecting the ignition. This motor fills up the cowling and the module has to be mounted inside the fuselage. The exhaust stacks are 2 inches apart and I will attach some pictures to try to help explain what Im talking about.
Special thanks to John at Aero-Tech for putting me in touch with a welder to finish this project. Thanks TopRudder |
RE: Evo Ignition Question
I ran the ignition lead between the stacks on my Evolution 45GX. I added some large silicone fuel tubing (split lengthwise) to prevent the lead from touching the stacks.
BTW, that is an Evolution engine, not an Evo (there is an Evo brand). Bob R. |
