WHICH VESS PROP ON A DA-50 FOR 3D???
 

I have a 16lb. QQ Yak with a DA-50. Any recommendations as to which Vess prop would be better for 3D, the 23A or 23B?

I think the 23b is a bit too much prop for the DA. I have heard reports of the 23a having allot of pull out of a hover but not much speed.....those vertical lines go slow....but it doesn't run out of steam. I believe most people are using a 22b or 23a on a DA 50.

Robert sold me a 23a for my da 50 on QQ yak at the masters and I love it I would say go with the 23a

I am using the 23B as recommended By DA. It is a great combination. This setup is the same as that of Jeff(I think) at DA with the same TOC YAK that I have. It outpulls the Menz that I was using.

The 23A,, I had one on mine for a while, Robert gave me one to demo when it was a prototype, and I have never switched, I tried the 23b but it loaded the engine up to much when pulling out of a hover,,,

I got to give the 23A a shot and since everyone seems to like it. Mine does not load up, or at least i do not notice it.
