Possible CDI conversion
Have recently bought a tartan twin glow. I want to convert it to CDI. I have several CDI units for single cyl. Can I use one of them and parallel another high tension lead and drive two plugs? The CDIs are C-H and BCMA. Good luck, red

RE: Possible CDI conversion
No you cannot parallel spark plugs. That is why they have two coils in a twin unit.
You could use two CDI units and drive them with one Hall affect device. |
RE: Possible CDI conversion
First you may want to check that the motor has roller bearings on the big end of the connecting rod, if it doesn't stick with glow fuel.
