Weed eater Engine

I have a weed eater engine that was given to me by a friend who couldn't get it to run. It has a chinese version of a Walbro Carb. I have gotten it to run, but am not sure where to set the two needle valves (high speed and low speed). any ideas from anyone would be helpful.

Roger Q.,

Try setting both needles at 2 turns open. Fire the engine up and start leaning the low end 1/8 of a turn at a time until you loose a good transition and then back it off 1/8. Now go to the top end and start leaning it until you reach peak rpm and then back it off 1/8. Go back and check the low end once again.

Zippi: thanks for the advice: I took it up this afternoon, ran the motor, and after a bit of adjusting the motor is running superbly. I am going to put it into a 1/4 scale cub, at least that is my plan for the time being. Any changes, I shall let you know. Roger Q.
