BROKEN NEEDLE HELP

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY MY HIGH END NEEDLE ON A TRAXXAS PRO .15 NITRO MOTOR HAS BROKEN TWICE IN TWO DAYS. IT'S BEEN IN THE UPPER 20'S AND 30'S. WOULD AIR TEMPERATURE HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT?

Cold makes metal brittle. Bumping or vibrating cold metal makes it fracture. Broken or loose engine mounts lets a cold needle valve bang into things. Any or all of the previous is likely the problem.
