RCAT kill switch
 

I just installed the RC-100 in my plane and hooked one wire to the G26 and one to the engine mount as described but the instructions say the led will light when relay is closed. I have it connected to my gear switch and the atv is 100% either side of center but no light comes on when the switch is pulled. Anyone familiar with this unit?

I just installed one a couple days ago and had the very same problem using the gear up channel (ch.5) on my Futaba 8UAFM system. The fix is to reduce the ATV to +/-85% . There is a thread I started right here that is still active that tells about it all. Have a a look see.

Thanks guys. I set my atv on ch. 5 to +/- 50% and it works. I don't have the ground hooked up only the wire to the engine and the light comes on when I throw the switch so I'm assuming the relay is closed regardless. Too cold outside to find out now.
