walbro wt668 problem
 

Hey guys,

I have a 23cc cy with the walbro wt668 carb. It seems that I am having some issues with the metering needle sticking. it runs pretty good for a while, then idles wayyyyy up and dies. I notice at that point the primer bulb is completely full of fuel. Normally there is about 1/3 of the top of the prime bulb is air. I have checked the gas cap vent, its good. Have also put in 2 different needles and same thing happens regardless. I know I could just grab another carb, and just swap it, but I would really like to learn something here about these carbs and their repair.

any advise from you guys would be more than appreciated.
