LawnBoy 21 engine
 

Has anyone tried converting a LawnBoy 21 engine for airplane use? I know if has a few drawbacks, like a carb with a float and no real muffler, but I have one laying around and thought it might work. They seem to have an interesting CDI system that has a retarded spark when starting then advances as the engine speed increases. Maybe someone has tried to use just their ingnition system? Any help would be appreciated.
