RE: what is it ? does anyone know
That is out of a chane saw. you can put the pics in urc convertion form and I know they will be able to tell you what it is. I have seen pics of it before but I am not sure what one it is. but they will know what it is.

RE: what is it ? does anyone know
Looks similar to an SPE engine but painted black... Not too sure about that though.

RE: what is it ? does anyone know
could be a poulan 54cc
I really cant tell with all the zip ties! B&B used to sell an engine like that but can't remember the name, a lot like the quadra. bore stroke and the number of the crank would help |
RE: what is it ? does anyone know
Looks to me to be a dedicated model aviation crank case, rather than a conversion. It also has electronic ignition and the old B&B engines did not have this type ignition. The CRRC case is almost identical. The Thor engine uses this case and is also painted black. It could be a first generation Thor 45.

RE: what is it ? does anyone know
It looks to be a GS65i,I believe CRRCPro in china made this engine originally, and may still do.It is also sold under the "Peak" name.Do a google search on GS65i.

I think craig01 might be right about that, all he needs is the muffler. does anyone have an idea what muffler or header would fit? and where to order one from? dimensions:outlet 1 5/16 wide by 11/16 tall, 2 1/8 spacing between bolts any help would be apprecciated, thanks, Phil

Mufflers made for the Zenoah g62 or g45 will fit.

RE: what is it ? does anyone know
thanks alot Craig. I am trying to help him get a smoke setup on this engine, we had a custom muffler made from a machine shop but it's very heavy. I'll try the Zenoah g62 muffler.:D
