Roto 35Vi engine

I just finished my Extra 330L and i used a Roto 35vi(gas) Engine!!
The engine's manual isn,t very good!!It hasn't enough details for break in and what kind of props i can use...
What prop do you recomend me for break in?I'm thinking a 18X10 or 18X10 menz..Is it to little or good for break in?

How should i do the break in?
How do you break in your gas engines???
(It has a walbro carb)
Please help me...
Thank you

RE: Roto 35Vi engine

see thread http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_69...tm.htm#6978216 and try not to read all the nonsense.
Use plenty of oil for the first tanks, like 5%, tapering to 3% for the rest of the running in.
When the engine has limbered up, go to 2% top quality two stroke racing oils.

I had one of these when they first came out - good smooth runner - I used (U guessed it --32-1 synthetic oil mix as I do on ALL my engines) - once you get the choke setup such that it will easily choke as needed - then set the needles as necessary - it is a very smooth runner .
The muffler which comes with it is quite effective but honestly-it strangles the engine . and cuts available power seriously
A header into a larger can is a better setup if you need more power. a 19x8 prop is "about right" for slow scale flying.
