RE: rcs 159 radial
RCS made a killer 215 radial that had a whole bunch of power and was easy to run. Not cheap but it was worth every penny in value. I'm thinking the 150 is a down size from that. You won't get hurt in the deal by any means.
We had a 215 set up on a test stand for awhile and would run it periodically just to listen to the beauty of it. Music!!! Eventually we had to put it in a plane. That took away from the shop sounds but it sure pulled a 33% Waco like there was no tomorrow. Talk about torque!!! |
RE: rcs 159 radial
what has me curious is that they are only rated at 8.5 hosepower. just wandering if the prop size claims are legit. they say 26-16@5400, thats a ton of pitch. i want to swing a big 4-blade. anyone running one with a 4-blade? jeff
