Spark Plug For Brison 4.2 ???

I just got a Brison 4.2 without a spark plug and the directions give no suggestions. I have on hand Champion a RDJ8J. Too hot ? What is the norm ?

Thanks ............

A NGK BPMR6F will work well in that engine. The Sachs cylinder wasn't really designed for the tapered seat NGK but it seals and works well. Suggested to me by Ralph Cunningham (RCign) some time ago.

This might get moderated but go here and look under spark plug conversion.

If the head is not equipped with spark plug reducers, Champion RCJ7Y should also do the job.
