I am looking to put a gas engine on a Bridi Ugly stick. It has a 80"wingspan,supposed to weigh 9 lbs without engine.Says to use up to 1.8 4 or 2 stroke.
Thanks for your suggestions.the plane can be seen at bridiradiocontrol.com in 1/4 scale section

Go with the converted saw engines whether it be Homelites or Poulans. There cheaper & are a blast on sticks. A friend has the Bridie Big Bee with a 33cc Homey from RS Engines & it flys great!!

I could reccomend the Ryobi conversion. Good torque and cheap to obtain. check out my testimonial at www.jagengines.com.

How about a BME 44? Too much power?

Too much power?

No such thing!!!! But with a weight of 9lbs on the airframe and 1311 inches of wing area, my personal choice would be an RCS 140 for great performance and economy.
