MVVS & Evolution-are they the same?
 

Just looking at some of the MVVS engines and thought I was looking at an Evolution engines website.Are these the same engines?

Yes, I think Evolution motors are the same with a different colored head ... I think..
I own a MVVS 40cc gas and it SURE loos like an Evolution...

Pe Reivers at the MVVS site certainly help you on that question...

Comparing the part numbers for the MVVS 1.6 ifs (gas) engine on the MVVS web site to the Evolution 26Gt part numbers on the Horizon web site, I found the numbers to be virtually the same. I the ordered Evolution gaskets, a backplate and a piston from Horizon and installed them in my MVVS 1.6. They fit and work perfectly.
