I had 2 here..I never try to run an engine the way it comes out of the box..There are too many factors (prop size, fuel, altitude, muffler) for ANY manufacturer to set the carb...If they don't run the engine it gets sent out just the way Walbro assembled it, somewhere around 1 1/2 open on both...Better to learn to set the needles and start around 2 turns open and go from there..2 turns will be rich, safe on all engines....If you happen to get one that runs right it's just luck, it wasn't planned....
