BME Engine
RCIGN: I just looked at a side view picture of a 50cc BME engine. Could you please tell us what piece of power equipment did this engine originate from??? Looks like some kind of x -chainsaw. Thanks Captin John

BME Engine
I own a 50, and in my research of buying, I found out it is of the "echo" origin. I didn't confirm this, other then I heard from another user. It's a place to start though.

Echo it is
I have the BME 50 on a Edge and Kieth at BME told me that the crank and housing is from Echo. Great motor with lots of power.

BME Engine
Without any doubt the BME 44 and 50 are liberated Echo chainsaw engines, adapted to aero use, less the all important flywheel... :(
