Cut and Paste

I cannot seem to find the correct place to ask this question so here I am at the computer experts site.

If I want to cut and paste into a thread reply I highlight the text. go to the file menu and hit "Copy"

When I open up the "Reply" box there is no menu in it and the main page menu is inoperative. Sometimes the text will paste in on it's own, other times it will not go in at all.

Any suggestons?

Hi Ed,

Sometimes you can use the control-C and control-V on your keyboard, where they don't give you a menu option.

Hold the control key and hit C after you've highlighted what you want to copy, then go to where you want it pasted, hold the control key and hit V, and it should work.

This can be called the Copy and Vaste method (if you hit control P for paste, you usually get a Printout).

Ed,

There is a new feature on this software for quoting, but it is not obvious.

To quote your message, I just marked the text I wanted to quote, and hit the REPLY button. The text gets put into a quote /quote section int the "Reply to Message" dialog automagically.

They are working on more quoting options.
