third best engine

I know the Nelson and Jett engines are the the top of the line engines, but what about the next best engine so far as the 40 sized engines in the Q500?

I know Mvvs q50040 is good engine. I have one.

So what would be the third best 40?

There isn't another engine I'm aware of thats even close. The MVVS would be at least 2 laps down to a Nelson or JETT.

Maybe the Fora 500?, but even that isn't even close to being in the same class.

I know that Mvvs q500 40 doesn't come close to the Nelson or Jett.

Let me explain it better, what would be the Best engine in the generic brand engines?
Like out of Mvvs, Rossi, Thunder Tiger, O.S., MDS, Enya, Super Tiger, Ivrian, Fox, RJL, tiger shark, Nova Rossi...ect

I'm thinking the Mvvs is better than all of them that is listed.

How about a used Nelson on e.b.a.y?

Lots of them listed recently with the New Nelson LS that has come out.

The best of the "generic" motors in .40 size are the MVVS, Webra, or Rossi quickie motors.

Hi!
10-12 years ago we flew Sport 40 pylon over here in Sweden , using 80/20 fuel.
MVVS was slightly better than both Irvine Sp .40, Rossi Q-500 and Webra Q-500 (we ran those engines with their own mini-pipes).
Then came along the Super-Tigre Q-500 engine.... and bye bye MVVS!
