I've had a few guys at my club ask the same thing, especially after seeing my 2.6M Extra in the box. Their new 2.3M Extra is a step in the right direction - hopefully it won't be as heavy as they say it is.

I hope so. I've been trying to get my fingers on the sticks of their 2.6M extra to see how it flies. I've heard lots of good things about it, but have no stick time on it. I've flown their big Yak-55SP, and it is awesome! While I think its the ugliest thing I've seen in a long time, its flight characteristics more than make up for it. My problem is whether I can get over its looks enough to own one [sm=bananahead.gif]

Please be aware of the poor service offered after the sale with Andreas Gietz and Composite-ARF and formerly Fiberclassic. I have had first hand experience and I will make it a point to mention to everybody I can to stay away from his products!!!!!
