Default New Edge

Does anyone have a Pilot R/C 31% Edge 540V3 on order? I have one preordered from Chief...they say the shipment is due the end of October. I believe this latest version has a laminated carbon fiber framework but I haven't seen any interior photos...

I'll be looking forward to seeing what you think of it. And thank you. I'm coming back to flying after a 12yr break. It feels great to be back.

Well, the BIG box arrived yesterday, I spent today unboxing and checking all the parts for any damage...none...everything looks good. This latest version does not have the laminated framework, but it does have carbon fiber bracing, it also has the quick release canopy/hatch. The printed covering looks good, but not easy to repair if the need arises! Fit and finish a B++

That is one beautiful plane. What motor are you using?

Changed my mind, I now have a VVRC 70 with bowman rings ordered. Anyone have experience with this one?

Engine mounted, odds and ends ordered. They shipped the wrong ignition with the engine, Tom has the right one on its way. I'm in no hurry, no flying here until next April or May...

I already have a problem and the plane hasn't been out of my shop yet! They have used these printed "decals" and it's impossible to get the wrinkles out of the covering without damaging the decal...
