Default ZDZ 80 header and cannister muffler options

All:

I currently have a RCS 80 CC cannister muffler and header. This combo will not fit in my CA 31 % Extra that I am building. I am trying to find out what you guys have used, and the results.

Thanks,

Pugs

Pugs,
I'm using the side mount Peacekeeper on my ZDZ80. I'm happy with the overall sound and it's much lighter as well. I don't know how many decibels, but I've asked a bunch of people and nobody says it's too loud.

My prop is a Bambula 26x10.

I am also searching for a header to mount my ZDZ 80 single.
I have the "Peackeeper" enemy maker muffler, it is TOOOOO LOUD.
110 db with Bambula 26x10.

Mine was 94 DB with a Menz 26x10 and the Peacekeeper.

Measured at Triple Tree... I was shocked....

Here is what I have now:

As you can see, it will be hard to get it into that CA 31 % Extra....

Hey Pugs, A freind of mine had a can "muffler" for a zdz 40. It sat right underneath the motor box, inside the cowl. It never entered the plane and was cross ways as compared to the can you now have. I know this is as clear as mud, and I am not sure how to better explain it. Maybe he still has a pic of it. But then again, they may not even offer anything for the 80?
