WOW you are one helpful man!!! Thank you so much. I wont need a big vehicle because I luckily live on a golf course!!! The hole I live on is quit big and it roght next to a big river so I have pleanty of space to fly. whats the width, hight and length of the cowl. How wide is the fuse at the wing tube region. How tall does it stand. If you dont mind could you take a size comparison pick of the fuse? Thanks again, your a great help! BTW im going to receive mine next week and start the build!

The plans are vital , this is a very complex large scale plane.I would not build the plane without them. If you did order the kit from Lanier you will get a complete set .

The plans are not to 40% scale but you do need them for reference . All the measurements and critical notes are printed on the plans which is 1/2 scale or 20 %. I referred to them though out the entire build.

thank you very much! Sounds BIG! Just curious where do you store yours? Do you think you could make bigger aielerons or does it snap good? What engine do you have in yours?

I store mine on a large table in my garage. The ailerons are huge no need to change the size, snaps are perfect. I have a DA 150 which has more power than I will ever need. I fly mostly at 1/2 throttle or less. For my style of flying a DA 100 would probably be fine.

I don't fly 3D, for 3D I would recommend a DA 150 engine.

I don't know if it would fit in a Tahoe. You need at least 110 inches for the fuse. The Lanier web photo is the only one I could find that shows any size reference.

It would be an extremely tight fit. I have seen a Carden 40% Extra go into a Ford Explorer, but the spinner and rudder had to be removed. Mine will "most likely" not fit into my Subaru compact wagon, and I will be getting a trailer for it.

Back from furlough; hopefully that will be the last of that. Now all I need is for them to close my base or some other source for elevated blood pressure.
