You guys are bordering on bashing here. AGAIN

Hi Bill,

I know your motivation here is positive, but I disagree with you completely. Yes, this thread is about "building" the EF Yak, but the fact is that the supply issues are very interelated to the building process, and to me it makes complete sense for people to discuss these issues in this thead...after all there's not much building going on. As long as there is no "real" bashing going on here, and personally I cannot see what bashing you're referring to here, people should be allowed to discuss these issues, PRO or CON, without interference from the RCU staff.

People have every right to air their opinions here, as long they're civil, whether they agree with Chris or his defenders, or not, as that's what these forums are for and all about.

I meant to say that I'm not stating my opinion on the subject here at all; my only point being that people should be able to share their opinions here, no matter what their opinion is. Again, assuming civility.

Well I flew my Yak today and all I can say is UNBELIEVABLE! The thing flies like a sim plane!
Rolls were silky smooth and extremely axial..the ailerons are very effective..I could change the roll direction in an instant..very crisp...Full deflection elevators were solid with no wing drop at all! I was very impressed with that..Inverted and upright elevators as well as harriers were simple..no mixes needed for knife edge and inverted was level with the sticks at neutral...My favorite were the tumbles OMG!! On my med rate the Yak would go end-over-end at idle speed at any time! All I had to do was push the stick down and away it would go! At my full rate which is 65 degrees the tumbles were sick!! Waterfalls were so fast I did 3 in a row before I knew it and hardly loss any altitude! I tried some tailslides and I was so busy watching it slowly descend I didn’t realize how low I was getting..punched the throttle and it climbed back up the same line!

I now understand why people are willing to wait for the next EF plane..I know Ill be in line with them!..Only mods done was the hatch latch and I followed Neos advice to the letter and it works perfect (Thanks Tom) This plane is 100X better than my WH Edge and I think the Edge flies great but its not in the same league with the Yak...and thats nothing against WH they make great planes

It's different... all the way....

I think we'll have various people hoping for various planes...

but I wouldn't mind:

It really did exceed my expectations..I mean I knew it would fly good but damn! I still cant get over how you can hold the elevator back and just cruise around the sky without a worry...

Bubbagates, Since you seem to be a regular on this thread now, I'll post my comments as a reply to you.
To all those that have emailed, and PM'd, me telling me it was wrong for the moderator to delete all of my post on this thread. let me say this Bubbagates deleted every one of my post only (I would not except editing) at my request. Mine were not the only post's deleted. I think he did what he (as moderator) thought was best. I'm not apologizing for any statement I made. In fact, as I said......every statement I made can be proven on this very same thread if one wishes to take the time to research. Let me make this one thing very clear however to everyone, and espessially Chris. IT WAS NEVER MY INTENT TO CALL CHRIS A THIEF, and I can't understand how anyone could mistake my meaning. I have stated what I believed to be the Facts. We'll see how my predictions bring in the future.
I'll get off this thread and let everyone dream about the future, and keep thier eyes open watching for a ship that may, or may not ever sail.

Now watch this thread come alive again with all the "pop up puppets

It's one thing to continually read; "It's the best airplane I've ever flown" and something else to actually getting your hands on one of these... Those that are lucky enough to have flown one are the same people willing to wait for the next EF airframe, no matter what it is...

Congrats Joe...

It's a georgeous scheme ripped from Mike Badger's scheme he did for AeroTech's Yak...

The only thing I don't like is the way cool side stripes on the side get covered by the wing...

If you raise the red a bit and put the black stripe above it should look neat...
