I just hope he can reproduce it. I really do not know what all is involved but I am hoping he can. I miss my 87" being in the trailer with me, and all just because of a canopy.

How about laterally. I am pretty sure overthinking will cause a knife edge loop to snap out at the end.

Yes.
It will shift the CG slightly forward on odd days and slightly aft on even days. If its a leap year, there will be no change.

Mr. Wgeffon, if someone overthinks it, will that change the balance in anyway?

Mike - we are just having fun. No one should get excited. I've had my fair share of crashes too, like everyone else in this hobby. I can't believe there is still stuff to talk about regarding the Yak.....

I have committed to an Aerotech Pitts -12 , that's it.
When Chris comes back, or announces , I am sure I can make room.
Christmas birds. Whee......

I hope it dies keep going. I never get tired of hearing, & talking about my EF 87" Yak. I have 117 flights on mine, & continue to love & enjoy it. I have one NIB that I plan to put the BME 55 Extreme on. Am patiently waiting for that engine.
Is there any other 50cc planes out there comparable to the Yak's flight capabilities & characteristics? I'm interested in opinions. Thanks.

To answer that, Yes there is. Mr. Hinson has not released it yet though. I still think it will be an 87 to 89 inch Extra 300 mid wing with all of the CF goodies and a wing loading which is comparable. The sceme and color of the covering will be a unique and atractive one (like the first EF -87) that will be the cat's meow in the market. Or maybe it will be an MX-2 that will take the 50-55CC engine.

Whatever the next release will be... you can rest assured it's gonna rock the house.
I'm hoping Chris will spill the beans when he returns from China...

I think the 100cc will be an Extra but the 50cc might be something with two wings. Remember, Mike Hall is the king of the M12 and I've seen a few other models from the aerolock model days.
