Oh, and one more thing.

Merry Christmas to all that celebrate it. Happy hollidays to those who celebrate otherwise.

Looking forward to a healthy and FUN New Year.

Maudib was clearly talking about November of 2007, not 2006. Never assume!
funny you guys didn't pick up on that

Maybe Chris will bail you guys out and make an announcment tomorrow about his planes of the future. I guess it's possible. I believe Chris has learned from experience not to sell or announce planes until he is relatively sure of the product and delivery date.

Or maybe since he has a broken foot, a big old shipment of planes that arrived Wednesday, it's the Holidays AND his last RCU post was 7:34 pm+- Thursday evening... he just ran out of time. Don't know if he planned on heading out of town for the Holidays or not.. but he simply could have ran down to the wire and not had a chance to get everything done.

I certainly would have placed getting info together for new product announcements lower priority than shipping orders, and hobbling over to friends and families for Holiday get togethers...

Speaking of which... my brother has invited us over for a little Christmas Eve snack... sorry but that takes priority...

But as soon as I get the info... I'll make sure you all know it's available.

Either way we all should expect that the new planes won't be in stock for a couple more months for production to complete and the voyage overseas...

From the drum, I'm going Extra and yak now, ultimate electric coming later. Mike's Pitts M12 updated to a python would make an awesome ARF as well.

I fly Mike's M12 quite a bit. I don;t really know what "updates" it needs to be a Python. But whatever they are , leave them off. Mike's Aerolock Pitts M12 is perfect the way it is. Just supersize it or release the larger version he made a few of.

The little M12 he made is the only small E-plane that holds a candle to the EF ARF's , IMO. We have a lot of small e-planes at our filed, and almost every "other brand" ARF ends up hanging on the ceiling for consignment after the owner flies an EF.

E-flight's, Flitons, NitroModels,QQ's,Seagulls, Wattage, you name it, all can be had for pennies on the dollar, and for good reason.

I could have sold my M12 for twice what I have in it, multiple times. It's that good.

Mike H. , supersize it , please.

I would be up for one of those too.... it's real purdy. And I agree... every one of the EF planes released have been very successful and cherished by their owners. The next ones are sure to follow suit...

I went to my shed to comfort my EF 87" Yak, He said he could care less about a new canopy, all he wants for Christmas is an EF brother.

Imagine me having to explain it to my 3 red-headed stepchildren... the 87" twins and their 107" bigger sister...

"Now your "half brother" is coming... but we don't know EXACTLY when just yet and I can't tell you what he looks like... but I'm sure you'll get along just fine!"

"Whatever you do... don't stare... you might make him feel "different"... so go out there and torque roll with him and let him show you his rock solid harriers (both inverted and upright) his new 50cc "grill" and you'll realize that he's akin to you.

"And if he seems to get a lot of attention at the field... don't get jealous... just know he's doing your family proud..."

The drums have fallen quiet. The natives have been distracted by bright shiny German engineering. The neighboring BMWites went by and the locals have abandoned the pot and gone chasing wildly after. Apparently they have the ideal chariot for transporting sacred EF e-Yaks. The question now is white, blue or black? 328i or 335i? 5 series? They're getting dang civilized!

Guys, sorry for the confusion. I truly intended to make the new release announcement on Christmas day, but life got in the way. We received our container of 47" and 74" Yaks on Tuesday and had quite a backlog of orders to get out. Melissa and I were doing our best to get everyone's order out in time for Christmas and I simply ran out of time to complete the aircraft and get proper pictures before leaving town to visit family. My broken foot has slowed me down quite a bit as well. I fractured it pretty bad and the doctor is adamant about me staying off of it, so it has made the assembly process take longer than usual. I will do my best to get things wrapped up in the next couple of days and post pics and specs.
Thanks for your patience guys and I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas.

Here is some info, looks like there is going to be 2 new models!!!!! Yak and Extra:

"ExtremeFlight proudly announce their 2 new 50cc models.
At long last Extreme Flight are back on their home turf with the announcment of not one but two new 50cc models. The first is a revised version of the much renowned 87" Yak 54. The new Yak is slightly larger with a modified 88" wing section and slightly larger fus. Chris Hinson President of Extreme Flight was test flying the final version whilst in China and happened to bump into a leading F3A pilot. Both stated outright that it was the best model they had ever flown!! Crickey that is some statement.

Shortly after Chris then flew the new 90" Extra 300. Easily the largest 50cc Freestyle model on the market today and according to Mr Hinson every bit as good as the new Yak.

Both models are in production and are expected very early on in 2007 with production samples to arrive in a couple of weeks."

That's right... why would Chris "proudly announce" to the U.K. and not have anything to show on his site?

Rumors and rumors of rumors... and someone wants to drive traffic to their site... and the "news" is quite old since Chris has been back from China for sometime now...

Conjecture and rumors...

Of course there could be some grain of truth that sparked the "news"... wonder what it was...

It's true and I've got a $1.00 bill to prove it. Take with a grain of salt. I think it's true... basically because it's in-line with my prediction although I did expect the yak to be a little larger than 88"

C'mon guys...
Wasn't it very obvious to you that it would be a scaled up version of the 45" electric extra (Of course designed for gas).
And an 88" Yak doesn't surprise me either and I won't be shocked if it has some features of the new "Somenized" Yak i.e. foam free etc.

I am not implying ANYTHING here. Chris is not copying designs from anyone or vice-versa (He doesn't need to).

In any case, my bonus will pay for both the new 50cc's hehahahahaha {EVIL LAUGH}

OK, enough rumors and speculation! Here is the lowdown, in the order we will receive them:
45" Edge 540T, for the same power system as the 45" Extra 300.
88" Yak-54, totaly new design from Mike Hall, very scale in appearance, HUGE for a 50cc plane but still very light. Definiftely an improvement over the 87" Yak, and that is saying a lot!
88.5" Extra 300, based on the 45" version, again HUGE for a 50cc plane but very light.
48" Vanquish F3A, for same power system as the 47" Yak. This is a very modern F3A design. Yes it will do all the 3D maneuvers, but its real intention is precision aerobatics. Will make a great practice plane for pattern competitiors or anyone looking to hone their skills.

I am back on my feet, though still a little slow. I will post pictures as soon as possible. Full details to follow.

YAY!!!!!!! Finally some news for the masses!!!!

See I TOLD you there wasn't a 90" Extra!!!! It's ONLY 88.5" tee hee....

The new Yak is 88" and just under 17 bs! This should offer the amazing foamy wingloading feel but with JUTS enough weight to make flying it in more than 3 mph winds more enjoyable and stable.

The E-Edge and 88" Yaks are coming first... with the Extra a little further down the road...

I've seen the protoype Extra fly and it's got ALL the capabilities of the 87" Yak... NO snapping tendencies on high elevator, SUPER stable upright and inverted harriers, AWESOME power to weight with the tuned pipe it was setup... I mean PEPPY.

I'm sure the Yak will be as awesome too... CAN'T WAIT to get mine!

With more than one factory manufacturing Chris' various designs... he's able to keep his eggs in more than one basket so we should start seeing more frequent and timely releases.

SO... O.K. now... go check your paypal account and see what items you can "move off" to make room...
