I used the emcotech dspi min rv5 it filters the power and rx signals isolates the reciever and amplifies the signal gives redundancy for dual batteries comes with a flag style switch once tuned on you can remove the switch from the plan and it will stay on voltage can be configured compatible with 4 5 6 cells nicad nimah or 2 cell lipos good insurance for youe valuable plane.

put them in the plane & then the motor will appear......then the bird will be up[8D],,

I used the 5945 x4 wings 5955 for the tail but i think it was overkill.
Peace of mind nowing there is enough power there, And love the programming function.
dont have enough experiance to say what the miniun would be just whent buy the manual and added a little extra.
