Me too. I'm curious to see all of the clever ideas out there for building shelving or brackets to haul the giants around safely.

Here's mine but it is also for sale. Only reason its too heavy for my toyota, my dodge 3500 pulls it fine I just want a lighter trailer so my toyota can pull it also.

How big a vehicle you need to pull these trailers!. Nice, but some one show us a trailer I can pull with my mid size car.

Those are all beauties - but for a single model or maybe a couple of smaller ones - get an old fold down trailer and re do it
something that you can see over - I had a custom one done a few years back for under a grand - with a lift up lid - all watertite and I could see over it thu rear window of my Merc Sable wagon .You could not even tell it was being towed .

Solar panel charges 12v deep cycle, 12 volt banana jacks everywhere. Subfloor for storage of chargers and other stuff. E-track allows for a removable shelf across middle.

Here you go Flip and Fly. I haven't had time to do anything with it yet as far as customizing it but it pulls very easy with my 4 cylider Ranger.
BTW it's 6x10. they also come 7x12 for the 40%ers . both with tail gates. Mine has the prototype tailgate, but the new ones are suppose to have the whole back fold down.

Thats it!
My son is getting older and I need more room to go fly. Can't put him and the Big planes in the wagon, so this is what I wanted to see! Also less wind drag, fuel is getting expensive up here!
Thanks.

It'll hold a 28% (50cc), a 35% (100cc) and a 43% (150cc) bird. Three drawer toolbox (with room for a much larger one) fuel cans, wing bags, etc. I'll be working on the wing storage racks today. I want to be able to store 4 wing bags (one each for the 28% and 30%, and two for the 43%.) Note the aluminum (that's aluminium, to our friends in Australia and the UK) channel material used to guide/hold the tailwheels on the big-birds.

You'll notice that the shelf is only 4' wide, spanning the trailer about 22 inces from the back doors. This gives extra room to set a vertical stab/rudder that's taller than the distance between the top of the door jamb to the surface of the shelf. Also, since the shelf doesn't go all the way to the front, there is more usable space on the floor...it is all accessible.

Finally, the forward terminus of the channel. Very secure since the supports for the 2x4 are screwed into the vertical steel braces in the trailer wall. the shelf unit is similarly attatched to wall bracing.
A simple velcro tie strap around the tailwheel ass'y holds any plane down. The bottom channel was mounted on plastic spacers elevating it 1.4 inch from the floor. This is to permit a velcro strap on the that plane too.

Here's mine. It's a Haulmark 6' x 14' x 6'2" brand new, cost $2.915.00. I've just put the floor in and the devider for 2 layers of 40%ers. I'll be abe to haul 4 x 40%ers, may have to remove the stabs on two of them. I need to put shelves in the front, with a small lip to keep things from falling off. Also plan on a stereo, couple of deep cycle batts., etc.
