GP CAP 580 wing location
Shall I use the FWD or the AFT wing tube hole? I can move the batt and electronics to get it balanced in both places.
Where does it fly best?

RE: GP CAP 580 wing location
I can't imagine that there are two holes for the wing tubes, but I have not
seen this plane. Is there four smaller holes for the wing anti-rotation pins.
If not, take a wing half and line up the wing anti-rotation pins to the fuselage
anti-rotation holes and this will tell you which hole you should use. If there are four
anti-rotation holes in the side of the fuselage, then I guessing you have a choice,
depending of what motor you install. If a 100 cc motor, use the forward wing tube
hole and if less than 100 cc, use the aft most hole. Don't the instructions cover
this option? Maybe a call to Great Planes is in order.

Most of us with this plane are using the rear tube. I have flown mine with the DA100 on rear tube. Now setting up w/ zdz80 on rear tube. in most cases the plane won't ballance up front. Check out the thread for more info. Good luck Ron

As said, I can get it balanced in both FWD and AFT moving batts etc arround.
Anyone know if there is a diff in the way i flies from fwd or aft hole?
Guess the greatest diff is in 3D manuvers.
