Should be available end of April or the beginning of May. I believe that BME Aircraft was going to start taking orders this month usually discounted. Max is headed over there to QC them prior to loading them into the container. Might want to him an email to get more info. Apparently he has already needed to increase this size of the order.

Ken, John,

Which do you like best overall, BME Extra 330 or Yak 54?? I happen to have a Yak but your Extra looks awesome.

FlaconWings,

I like the way the Extra rotates. Waterfalls, tip spins, rollers…anything where the aircraft is in action. This plane is highly maneuverable and rudder authority is outrageous although it does have some coupling to mix out which is normal for the lower wing. I just can’t seem to put it down.

The Yak locks in to Harriers really nice and really hammers in walls. The Yak fly's very clean lines but I have not had the Extra out when it wasn't blowing. Everything seems to happen just a tad slower with the Yak. A little more graceful over all but not quite as action packed as the Extra. But it’s so smooth it feels like it’s flying it self sometimes and it’s a nice change of pace.

Ken

Hey Badfish
Thank you for your order. We expected to get them here at early May. But it seems like there would be some delay from the factory. Even though, late May would be a realistic time for them to be here. Hope it's not too long of the waiting for you. Well.. that why you get the discount. Thanks,
Aeromax

Hey Max,

Even ARFs I try not to rush and make it neat and clean.. The weather was a big part also. It was either rainy or 20+MPH wind gusts or both. Not Feeling ready to Maiden on such crappy days.. In the 10-15mph winds yesterday it didnt bother it one bit. I am deffinetly happy with your service and your product(rubbing the brown off my nose!!! Keep up the good work..

Badfish,

You will be amazed how fast this plane will go together, it's worth the wait. It's the airplane that gets loaded in the truck mostly. I've moved the CG back a little more and going to see how it handles it. I'll probably take it out this weekend.

Frank,

I think Max was just ribbing you a little. You put that airplane in the air timely.

Guys,

I've been thinking of powering my new one with the new BME 55. The tail came in real light on this plane and had to mount two of the batteries behind the rudder servo for good 3d. I think the 55 may be a good choice. 87" wing with an AUW just under 14lbs should really be fun. I don't know if I'll be able to get it back down to the ground however.

Stuck a new DA50 in the one I have now. May take it back out this weekend to get it broke in. It's going to suck not being able to fly like I want to with the new engine onboard.

LoL...if I had any pull with BME engines I would aready have one of their 110's. I am interested in the 55 with this plane however. I think the balance will come in about right.

Okay, you guys, here is a little eye candy of the BME Extra in action! Ken-h at the controls. Had an awesome day of flying with friends today and the weather was great to boot! I have to admit I was not real fond of this color scheme at first, but it has really grown on me and it is really visible!!! It's got me thinking.......uh, oh, yeah right, the pictures.... ENJOY!!!!

Regards,
