Default Ziroli Corsair

I have obtained an old plan for a Ziroli Corsair from a friend. The plans shows a 0.60 with transmission or a Quadra. Also there is no retracts information on the plan.

My question is, are there any other differences between this plan and the more recent ones? (especially aerodynamics differences)

I plan to start building from this plan, after figuring out the location of the retracts. Has anybody built this variant? Does it fly?

I plan to use G62 as per the newer model. How did a geared 0.60 managed to fly this beast?

Thanks

my opinion is for you to buy the plans from ziroli, there are quite a few updates, including flaps

Hummmmmm, it could be a lot of fun to build from those plans, all the calculations and measuring to make things work and the satisfaction that you spent all those hours to do it yourself. Or you could spend the $52.00 and buy a new complete set with all the information. That could be a tough call.
