Dude that rocks. What kind of servos are those? You got a link to where I can find them? If they can hold up to that then they should hold up fine in other 50cc 3D huckin planes.

hey jason, from my experience, the centering is just about the same as hitec digitals, but it has 195 oz of torque at .15 speed with 6V, so thats a lot of torque

so u reckon u can post some picks inside of ur plane.?? i just want to see ur lay out, also inside the motor box for ignition and so fourth im just curious.??
and did u install all ur stuff inside the motor box before u installed it.??

I attached a pic of my set up here. This is my second PA edge, (the last one didnt survive my subterainial experiment) any how, I set this one up a little more tail heavy. The CF tray is suspended with rubber bands to address any vaibration. Lipo battery and fromeco regulator. I also hinged the canopy for fast access and used a nylon bolt to secure (so I can undo by hand).
So far really happy with it...

jason, great picks, i just soldered my connectors on my lipos for the emcotec switch im getting itchy feet hehe.
Aerofun when u take photo's can u take a few picks of yur Emcotec switch installation would be great, By the looks of things there doesnt seem to be heaps of room to put it in. im just going by the picks i have seen on here, also some pics of ur ignition and stuff...

Here is a few pics of my emcotec installation, i had to built a small balsa part for it, in this part i installed it, and then i glued it into the airplane, the unit is installed with two screws.

by the way, while taking the pics yesterday, i forgot to turn off the emcotec unit, so i left it on the whole night, just after posting the pics, it made me remember i forgot to turn it off, and when i went to see, it still had charge!!! 7.3v

Thats a heck of a nice switch! No checking your batteries. Does it do a loaded check?

Yeah its really an amazing device!, the load depends on the curent load the plane has, for example, a normal load on my plane while its on idle is about 0.10 amps, so I think the standard voltage readout at 0.10 amp is a pretty good reading, of course if you want a higher load, just move the surfaces around for a higher load. with this setup, since it uses the two batteries (i have 2x PA 1700 mah packs) this is 3400 mah in total, i can fly for about 10 flights without charging, and after that I still have a bit more charge left.

Thats Dan, i was just curuous did u make some mpx extensions for those Lipo's and where did u put the batteries for the propper cg

I used some wire i had around and soldered an extension to the lipos so i could move them around for CG purposes, right now mine are about behind the wingtube, and that feels a really good CG to start with , for the emcotec you need the MPX plugs so you can connect the batteries to it. Any more questions be sure to let me know

Yuh i already soldered the mpx plugs to the lipos. though the lipos have a very small lead. so im going to have to get some wire and mpx plugs....thats ok ill put the lipos where i think i good place then ill get some leads if need be, ill just wait for the plane....and we will see how we go....

U got any photo's of inside ur motor box.??? how did u hold everything down.?
Those videos u got are great though i hate the music... i prefer to hear the motor talk.
