Best 100cc ARF
Which is the best 100cc ARF?
Those are the two best I think but we can add more.
Don't have much experience with composites.
Please only reply if you have flown one or both.
Thank You

I have both. both w/ identical set-ups, DA 100, power box, except my QQ yak has smoke. Both planes weigh in at 27.5 LBs. QQ yak is light, but with the smoke system is weighs the same as my AW Extra 260. The Extra is a better looking aircraft. Both airplanes fly IMAC and 3D aerobatics vey well. In all out 3D performance(tumbles, rollers, flat spins, hovering, torq rolls, waterfalls) the Yak edges out the Extra slightly. But in combined IMAC and 3D manuevers, the Extra excells, No mix knife edge flight, awesome knife edge spins, and the best thing is no wing rock harriers and elevators. It is dead solid. The Yak (which is a newer plane) I have to watch wing rock some times, but the goes away if you hold a real hi-alpha attitude. I really enjoy both of these airplanes equally as well and I am fortunate to be able to own both. I know this will not help you to make up you mind, but it depends on your flying style. If you just fly 3D and freestyle, I would go with the QQ Yak. If you like IMAC sequence flying w/ 3D mixed in, then the AW Extra 260 will foor the bill nicely.

Man, I WANT that foamy!
We need more choices! How about adding the BVM Edge, Comp Arf Extra and Yak, Airwild Extra, GP Cap 580, WH Extra, Edge, and Sukhoi and some others I can't think of off the top of my head?

What about a Jtec / Radiowave Panzl 330. This plane seems to do everything well. I have not found any bad flight properties yet.
The guy that I bought it from bought a Dalton Avitation Extra 260 that was buikt by Tony Ruso and swears that this plane out flies it hands down. I hate to tell him but I agree.

My point is that there are only two good flying planes.
If you have a better one please let me know.

And this video's pilot is not Kyle Woyshnitz, it's Kevin Elder.

RE: Best 100cc ARF
I had to make this decision about a week ago. I thought long and hard over the winter and after reading through all the threads here on RCU , over at flying giant's , DOD and flying cirkus , i narrowed my choices down to a handfull of planes. the two you have in the list we're a possible consideration for sure. Mainly i know the areoworks quality is supposed to be top notch and hardly none better , but comes in a little heavy from what i read..........but an awesome plane indeed. The QQ Yak , is also supposed to awesome quality , and although is supposed to come in a little lighter than the Areoworks , the airframe is slightly brittle (hence being really light) , but then again.......very awesome plane from what i have read.
I was stuck on getting a yak for sure. Then i started leaning towards 35% extra 260 of some sorts. But when it was all said and done , with a complete package , customer support , looks of the aircraft , flying charactoristics of the airplane it's self and what is possible with the aircraft , i made my choice to go with a Wildhare 35% Sukoi. It's supposed to be a great IMAC type flying plane with the weight up towrads the front , and with it a little more towards the rear , you have yourself a 3-D monster!! I will get mine towards the end of april-beginning of may sometime , which is perfect , because i can round up everything else that needs to go into it. From what i ahve read about this airplane , and the guys who fly it , say it's by far one of the best , if not THE best airplane in their fleet. All i can say is , i can't wait to make it part of my fleet.
And NO , i don't work for WH , i just love their aircraft and support.
little glimpse of what will be in my garage in about 2 months................

That's actually a photo of the full-scale Matador scheme. Most of the photos of the model look a little washed out because the prototypes used pearl blue which is not as vivid.
Here's a photo of a production plane.

Your right I screwed up on the Panzl.
I forgot maybe because it's so ugly.
Great flying plane.
As for the wild hare I have owned two of them (no the Sukhoi) and both were heavy and not great flying planes.
The 100cc Yak Aeroworks I thought it was coming in to heavy with cans?
Wish they had the Radiowave 300 out.
