Hey Chris,

Aloha, Hope the vacation left you & Melisa well rested and ready to ROCK!. Anyway just wanted to know when you expect the 104" to be here. If it gets here before the QQ Pitts 12, well the Pitts may have to wait, cause I need a new bird for the Hotlanta Huckfest or Hucktoberfest!.

Rennie

P.S. Put me down for the Original R,W,B,& Y 87" Yak scheme as well!

Man , Oh Man , Oh Man,.....all of us buying Original Scheme 104"s . Seems Like nostalgia has hit some of the EF Faithful. My Original 68" is right next to me as I type. It hangs right above the 87".

I hope we have a warm November........I hate maidneing a plane with gloves..................

Its the best time of the year to maiden a plane here in FLA. In fact optimal flyin season is..............all year [8D]! Thats way I like ARFS. Less building time. Getting one ready for Huck-toberfest is going to be out then. With all of the demand for the original, maybe I should stick witht the "Rumble Bee" theme for the "Autobots!"...........oops, wrong thread .

ORIGINAL: EXTREME FLIGHT

Here are a few shots of the new 100cc Yak. This is the final prototype and production should begin in a matter of weeks. We expect to see them this fall.
A few specs:
104 inch span
103 inch length (tip of rudder to tip of spinner)
2020 sq. inches

This particular plane is equipped as follows:
DA-100
MTW canisters
HS-5955s on all surfaces except rudder. Single JR 8711 on rudder
2 Fromeco 5200 mah batts on flight controls
1 Fromeco 2800 mah ignition
Smartfly adjustable regulators
2 JR 10 channel synthesized Rxs.
Dry weight is 28 lbs as equipped.

Russell and I have put 24 flights on her since Wednesday and we have her dialed and trimmed to perfection. You can see Russel's enthusiasm for this bird in the photo. Not sure how I feel about another man getting so intimate with my new girl!

That is one nice airplane and very nice setup.

is this the only color it comes in???

RCUniverse edits out it's competitors website name.....laughable to say the least.

If you hit the quote button to this ...you will see the original code and can copy and paste it to your browser.

Laughable policy, and really speaks volumes of the animus RCU policy makers have for F - G .

Boss... while it may be annoying to some... it's a pretty standard policy on most forums that I have visited over the years. In fact I help run one of the largest dance music streaming sites out there and we don't want links to other sites on our forums either. I don't see the big deal.

edit: btw.. looks like it flys well!

Did we ever get a price?

Chris, will you test it with a DA85 just as a lightweight setup to see how it does?

Oh, yeah--what is the length from the cowl (no spinner, just prop) to the tailwheel if the rudder was removed?

Thanks!

I had words with the mods here on RCU regarding that. And yes, very laughable....Actually strikes a nerve with me...

I do not think Chris could set a price at this point. There are many factors that have to fall in place before he could commit to that, but I am guessing he will be the same or near the same as others. Just my opinion, but whenever you look at an ARF never buy for price, always buy for quality. Like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.

It sounds like the 104" just got upgraded to 110" wingspan! I think to make it IMAC legal? Hope I can still fit one in my basement. Does anyone know when the 58" Extra is coming (is there a thread already on here?).
