Here are a few shots of the new 100cc Yak. This is the final prototype and production should begin in a matter of weeks. We expect to see them this fall.
A few specs:
104 inch span
103 inch length (tip of rudder to tip of spinner)
2020 sq. inches
This particular plane is equipped as follows:
DA-100
MTW canisters
HS-5955s on all surfaces except rudder. Single JR 8711 on rudder
2 Fromeco 5200 mah batts on flight controls
1 Fromeco 2800 mah ignition
Smartfly adjustable regulators
2 JR 10 channel synthesized Rxs.
Dry weight is 28 lbs as equipped.
Russell and I have put 24 flights on her since Wednesday and we have her dialed and trimmed to perfection. You can see Russel's enthusiasm for this bird in the photo. Not sure how I feel about another man getting so intimate with my new girl!

I leave Wednesday June 27th for China to oversee the start of production on the 50cc Extra, 58 inch Extra and finalize the details on the 104 inch Yak. All 3 of these new aircraft will be available in the next few months.

Thanks Chris for the updates. Your airplanes are starting to dominate my weekly fliers! I need to replace my current 100cc . I will be watching this one. If its any thing like the 88"er......... this one should be a real 3D monster, because bigger..............truly is BETTER

EF is getting quite the Hangar to choose from
Got a 74 inch on the way and that 88 inch Extra is something to think about.
This big Yak looks impressive, but that is a distant dream for me.

Hey Chris. I am on the list for the 104" Yak. My request is that you make it available in the classic scheme you used on the original 87" Yak 54. Have a safe trip abroad, God speed.

Are you sure that's not a 150cc Yak? That thing looks friggin huge! Weight sounds good, considering the weight you have in batteries and cannisters. Looks sweet! If I get a yernin' for another Yak, this one will be on my list for consideration!

It's been a long wait for those of us on the 107" list from 3 years ago.....this is the payoff.
Yellow and Black...or Original Scheme would be fine with me. Just...no polka dots, or artsy fartsy........

It looks good Chris. Also, will there be a new scheme? I like the yellow and black scheme, but you already have it being sold on 2 planes. It reminds me of SebArt. All of his planes are the SAME SCHEME. I don't have a problem with the scheme, I'm just curious.

The plane is not that big.
Russell is a midget.

Awesome Chris!
I cant imagine it flying better than the 107 we flew a couple years ago but I know it will.
SWEET!

I was out atthe filed the other day flying with my buddy Wayne Mathews, when all of a sudden, Chris and Russel pull up.
To my amazement...no torque rolls, no harriers, etc!!!!! They have converted over.....straight line junkies again!!!
Guys this plane will perform just fine in the sequence category and is really big for its size...looks like a 40% on the ground and presents like one in the air...Chris and Russel have been teaming up on the Unlimited sequence adn they are looking good!
Great job on the new plane Chris!

Awesome to see it finally. Might very well be my first 100cc.
So, two servos in the ailersons
How many on the elevators?
Only 1 on the rudder?
