Default H-9 Extra 260

Now they're saying

Item coming soon. Oversized Sorry, this item can't be gift-wrapped.
Before it was late July and then late August and now it's soon.

This can't be good.

Well chances are they are waiting for a container to arrive off a ship from overseas and then they have to truck it from there to their warehouse...buy the Aeroworks Extra 260 instead, from what I have heard it is lighter than the H9, I have one, it is an awesome flying plane!

That is always how shipments arrive from China. No surprise there.

I am curious, have you flown the H9 260?
You must have to make such a bold statement about which plane to fly.

We are all happy you love your AW but this thread is about the H9

Hey Wayne this dude must be clairvoyant.

I think I'll stay with the H-9 at least I'll know the wings will stay on.

In my experience, when they say, "item coming soon", that means that it is closer to being a reality, not farther. It doesn't really matter to me anymore, as I am waiting on another Horizon product (9303 2.4) who's arrival date has been pushed back to late august. Plus, I have so much other stuff going on this month that I wouldn't have time to build it, anyway...

Hi Wayne,

I owned the H9 260. I would not recommend it. Check the incidence on the tail feathers and look for warps in the ailerons. I eventually got mine sorted out, only to have a catastrophic and total structure failure after a waterfall. Engine was a moki 2.10

I replaced it with an Aeroworks 260 which is where i should of started in the first place.

Cheers

W

As for the flying the H9 had alot of wing rock, but flew OK. The AW is a different breed of aircraft, very agile yet stable, strong control authority...nice aircraft.

Sorry about your luck with the 260.
You are talking about the smaller 27% version and thankfully, your experience is an isolated one.

This thread is about the new 35% 260.
I ordered it without hesitation.
