Always exciting to go visit friends at higher elevations and spend an hour wondering why my plane just isn't flying right??

Got my edge today, looks as nice as the extra, nice plane now I have to sell my never assy QQ 102 white Yak54 and my ZDZ 100 with canisters do to space at home, or may be not, I don't know. decition, decition, decition, I am goin out of my mind, if I'am correct this airplane will handle a 100 CC but have the problem of cutting the cowl in both ends to fit the engine.
I will build the edge first and them the extra.

Now that I have the 94" Extra, which other one would be the better of the two ----- the 94" YAK or the Edge???
I'm leaning toward the YAK, since it's a much different design (Edge and Extra are rather similar).........

i also really like the extra a real mean 3D machine. the yak just seems so mutch bigger. the turtle deck is almost twice the width of the extra. and the gear stands mutch higher.canopy 4 times the size

I also have a 100cc plane and engine.....
Besides the Lanier 94" yak and Extra.....
The way I look at it is this.....
I have everything I need for my 100cc plane.... I will put that one together and get it flight ready for spring..... (we just recieved 4inches of snow)
If I don't have the funds or time to get a 80cc engine I will just let those 2-planes sit..... It is a great deal, and I am in NO hurry to get them up....
It isn't like they are the fish of the day and need to be flight ready.....
I can place them away and when I get them up, I get them up......
Just remember,
It's best not let your wives see what these things cost....
Then NO problem with getting extra ones, and putting them aside for a bit....
Take your time, when you crash them, you can think about how nice they looked when in the boxes, and how great of a deal they were!..
Gman Bill knows about All three of these planes.....
He talked about all 3-at the beginning of my 94" edge forum post... It gives you a bit of insight on how they fly and the dif between each one....

True, Bill really loved the Yak. He had two I believe. He said they flew great and rolled very axial. I'm in no rush to build mine either. I have other projects to finish. I'll probably build the Yak first when I do build one. Yaks are by far my fav.

It's the ZDZ 80 RV from about 3 years ago. It's still maintained by RC Showcase. I have a ZDZ 80 RV from about 5 years ago, and they still service my engine.
$300 is a steal. These engines will run forever, if maintained correctly.

Don't sell your 100CC equipment, I will pock 2 holes in my extra or my edge to have access to install the cowl, this lanier planes are big and can easy handle a 100CC, yea will look may be better with a DA-85 but with a price tag of $910.00 with muffler I better stick to my ZDZ100.
I prefer to take the $910.00 and save a little be more and get the rolls royce of the Yak's extremeflyrc.
I'am so impress with the quality of this lanier Plane's that I thing they going to last long time, I need to see a video of the extra 330 flying, I know that extra's fly super good, but I have to see a Lanier 330 in the hand's of a 3D pilot.
