Default What happened to the DOD website?

Hey guys...

Anyone know what happened to the www.downonthedeck.com website?

Seems it is prompting for usernames and passwords only...

Wierd.

Cheers!

Hacked or down, can't say, but I would be both surprised and dissappointed if its gone.

They did not charge much for advertising and the cost of maintaining the server, combined with the time required to maintain the site, took a toll in finances and time that could not be justified. The site is closed.

To run a good site requires a lot of dedication and time so unless you're making money at it you don't do it.

Bugger!

They had some good bits of information on there - was planning on using the 3w tuning guide next week to get my 170cs dialled in on new pipes. Suppose there's a certain irony there..........

Ask what you need to find out at the circus. That's where the big flyers are.

The "non-binding servo through proper linerarity" video was my favorite. I loved that site, but more when Joe H was there.

DOD will be missed by this RC'er I enjoyed the content and the instruction video's from joe were great srevo programing, prop balancing, etc:. The site really never took off like RCU or FG but it filled a nich that made some of us glad it was there, Matt thanks for all you did and for keeping it going as long as you did. Wish you all the best.
Thanks

Maybe they will keep it and start it back up when the economy picks up...which is as soon as we get that clown out of office.
