The manual says 1-7/8" to 2-7/8". For the guys that have flown or are flying this model, how far back can you go before it gets too squirrely? It's the Bluehawk ARF.

I never got mine back so far to get that squirrely feeling. It flys so good at 3 to 3-1/4" there is no need to go back any further. The flat spins, snaps and Lomcevacs are really quick at 3". Any more the plane may come apart. I had to quit doing blenders with my second one. I pulled the bolts through the ply that hold the cabans to the fuse twice. I have not tried it with my third one. I only have 2 flights on it.

Thanks David. I'll start at 3" then.
