Default Prop question.

Well the landing gear mount on the right side finally gave way on my RM 30% Yak 54. The left side gave way about 20 flights ago and I rebuilt it with 3/8" light ply and it has been strong ever since. Now I get to do the right side. The only differance this time was that it trashed the NX 23x8 prop. My question is should I replace it with another 23x8 or should I try a 22x10 on this RCGF 62cc? The engine spools up great with the 23x8 but I would like a little more pull out. Does anyone think I will get that if I try a 22x10?

More pull with the larger diameter. More speed with the larger pitch.

Another thing to consider is trying different kinds of props even if they are the same pitch. You may like some better than others.

I 22x8 will spool up faster...faster better pull out. Also it might put the engine in a happier RPM band.
