The 30cc airplanes are in production, and a DLE 30 pulls the prototype around with authority !

The winglets are not really feasible,,,,but the swept wingtips are doable. The Breitling scheme and another
are on order. The prototype has a really nice, lightweight pipe tunnel. Build it with or without a tuned pipe.
It seems that the Nigel Lamb MXS-R morphs more quickly than any other raceplane out there. We have chosen to model the mid season '09 version.

Why would the winglets not be feasible? Make it at the same shop as the carbon l/g and use a square wingtip with thread insert, with the winglets as an add-on.

Any chance the canopy will match the real MXS-R vs the MX-2 like the 50CC version? Any option to upgrade to more scale canopy? Thanks!!!

Hi GIDDYUP, we modeled the 09 MXS-R, it is not the MX2 canopy. You can somewhat replicate the later canopy with vinyl or paint. We just liked the look of the bigger canopy for some reason,,,

Tomorrow, I lose my DA virginity, with a DA-60 coming for the MX2. I am excited to fly the MX2, I now figure an AUW of 16.6 pounds empty with the -60 swinging a 24-8 or 24-10, is should be alot of fun.

Happy New Year Guys!
Hey Taildragger, any updates on the 30cc MXS-R? Any specs, photos or video of the prototype to wet our appetite?

Should be on the water any day now!
The prototype is a MX2 that is in a less than appealing scheme,, so no photos or video. While it is challenging to look at, it flies nicely on a DLE-30.

The MX2 is a sample airplane,,, for flight testing. The production planes are MXS-Rs. The changes to the cowling, canopy and wingtips hardly change the flight characteristics.

Paint it black, add ''Window World'' stickers and say it is a ''Rob Holland'' version.

Hey Hoff, I have 'crawled' all over Robs airplane. I love it but dark airplane tend to 'silhouette' rather quickly, also they don't like to sit out in the Florida sun.

The prototype MX is in this scheme. Needles to say, this scheme will not make it into production.
