Setting control surface deflection??

Hi all,

I'll be receiving my first giant scale airplane (28% Wild Hare Edge 540T) in a few weeks, and as part of the assembly, I'll need to set the control surface deflections. What tool is everybody using to do this??

Thanks,

John

RE: Setting control surface deflection??

ruler and throw meter is my choice of tools. Don's Hobby Shop,Central hobbies have the meter if your hobby shop doesn't.

I have a throw meter but I normally use a ruler, tongue depressors and clamps!

I have two sets of throw meters. If under 45° I use these and like them very much

If over 45°, I use these...
