Setting up pull-pull with JR 8611
Alright guys, is there a secret to setting up this 8611 on a pull-pull setup? No matter how much adjusting, I can't get the servo to quit humming,(like its fighting for center) I was told I didnt need a digital programer for just one digital servo, So how do I make it stop? By the way, if it matters, its plugged into a Futaba R-148 FM receiver. Thanks.

RE: Setting up pull-pull with JR 8611
I had always heard that it is just the digital servo hum. They all do it. I think once I saw a video maybe from Joe Hunt that he had a 40%er with 5945's that he had that didn't hum. I think he used a programmer to set them all. I could be wrong though. It was a while ago. Hopefully someone that has alot more experience with the digi's will chime in, but that is what I have heard.

It's going to hum, you would think for the price, it would know the word's.............. sorry old joke

Yes it will hum. There isn't a programmer for the JR servos anyway.
I was able to get mine pretty quiet and sometimes stop all together.

RE: Setting up pull-pull with JR 8611
I have digis on several planes, small and large. They hum most of the time. At first I thought it would run down the battery. Has never happened. BUT, you can check for the following. Any kind of bind or pressure will cause them to hum. On the pull-pull if the tension is to tight, they will hum; if a normal servo arm is off line or twisted, it will make the servo hum.

Most of the time, they hum just because they like to.
