Old Masking tape removal
 
I've got a 20 yr old P-51 with masking tape on canopy. The tape came off but the adhesive stayed. Rubbing alcohol eventually works. Is there anything faster or easier without attaching the clear canopy?

goo-gone.. clear bottle, black label, yellow liquid. Should be available just about anywhere.

I've had great success using WD-40 for problems. Spray it on pretty heavy and let it soak for a few minutes. Clean up with windex or alcohol.

Thanks to all. I think I will try WD40 first since there is some on the bench. My wife has Skin So Soft. I'm sure that will be a big hit!

3M General Purpose Adhesive Cleaner part # 051135-08984
Won't hurt auto paint.
