Yak 54/Yak 55
Does anybody know why all manufacturers (except Comp-ARF) make the Yak 54 instead of the 55SP? Just wondering:D
Thanks, |
RE: Yak 54/Yak 55
Because it looks better:D I do think it looks better but I'm sure that is not why. Could it be because of fuse side area because of the larger canopy?

RE: Yak 54/Yak 55
Because Somenzini advertized this plane (Yak 54) and all manufacturers just copy what is already known. They also compete with each other that's all. Yak 55SP is the best plane so far it looks and flies just awesome. Recently, I have seen CA Yak 55SP - big one on the field and fall in love. Can't think about something else. Bought already DA-150 and waiting till someone start produce Yak 55SP kit in 38%. CA is great but I prefer build up plane and of course $3300 for white version from CA is not for anyone. So let's wait till smart people start this kit which with a little modifications can be done from Yak 54.
Kit builders, are you hear me???!!! Make a kit and I'll build prototipe before next season!!! [email protected] Thanks |

RE: Yak 54/Yak 55
That is a good thought that everyone saw QuiQui fly his 54 so thats why they did it, I never thought of that. I too like the looks of the 55SP better than the 54 but thats just me:D.
Thanks |
RE: Yak 54/Yak 55
Not just you like Yak 55SP, as I said "I love it!" It looks very cool - much better then Yak54. I can't describe how she flies but believe me - I never ever seen performance like this. I predict: this plane (Yak 55SP) in the nearest future will dominate everywhere and the first who'll make the kit will be in advance. This is clear, and anyone who seen Yak55SP especially big one understand why. Keep going guys let'l talk more about this beauty!!!
