Info on servo reversing

In another forum we have recently been debating the necissity of a servo reverser for a plane with two elevator halfs being controlled by seperate servos. It has always been my practice and opinion to use a servo reverser. Others deem it unnessary and to just flip one of the control horns around, one pointing up and one pointing down. Which method do you you perfer and why?
Thank You

RE: Info on servo reversing

Josh seems to have Checked out but I can offer my opinion....

With a larege plane, use two seperate channels and two sets of extensions.
Even on a 72 inch model, I would run two channels mixed and dual extensions...
redundancy is nice.
If you have two servos for two elevators, then consider the weight trade off between two extensions
versus a "Servo Reverser" with a "Y" Harness.... and the later offers no redundancy.
With a smaller plane, use one servo to power both elevators. Use a Torque Rod between the two...
