Pull-Pull Elevator?

Looking for persuasions regarding pull-pull or push rods for elevator (each half w/78 oz. servo.)

Dynaflite Decathlon / Saito 180.

Need to eliminate tailweight. Have already penciled on plans for mods to pull-pull w/ servos moved forward, but can use pushrods.
Have used pull-pull RUDDERS on all previous planes.
This is my fist "big" plane.

Pull-Pull Elevator?

I use pull-pull on all the elevators on all five of my big planes. Properly done (pay attention to geometry of layout) I think it is far superior to pushrods.

Ultta hots has pull-pull

My Ultra Hots has pull-pull for both the elevator and rudder. I set up bell cranks to take up the tension of the pull-pull system. Then I used a short push rod from the servo to the bell cranks.
I have run pull-pull systems before directly to the servo arms. I like the bell crank method because I feal it takes some stress off the servos.

RE: Pull-Pull Elevator?

Can you post any pics of pull pull in your planes?
