Default 1/3 Scale Cessna 170 Build Along

Attached are some photos of my project, usinig Bill Effinger Plans purchased from WE Technical Enterprises out of Houston. Plans were ordered and received in quick fashion. Semi kit and cowling ordered at the same time. Semi kit received about 9 weeks after ordering, slow but the quality is ok. Cowling has never been received, and it has been over 9 months.
I have forgotten how much fun it is to build a stick built plane. I made a tool to help me cut everything at just the right angle. I have gone through pictures on Airliners.net and found a 170 with an attractive yet simple color scheme, and have established contact with its owner who is excited to have someone building a model of HIS plane.
I have access to a not quite so attractive 170 locally, so I can take close up pictures and measurements for my edification.
The yellow object in the foreground of the pictures is a yardstick for size reference.

Sound like a fun build, could you resize the pics so they show larger?

I don't know HOW to resize; I agree they are small. Any help?
Thanks

It is a B model. I expect this to take me a while to complete, but I am certain I will enjoy it.

I have the same plans, I will keep watching your thread to see how it is going. What engine do you plan on using?

Going to use a Brison 3.2 gasser. I have just sheeted the horizontal stab today. Now have to sheet the elevators. Using 3/32" balsa.
