Default Easy tiger models Beaver

I am trying to find some info on the Easy Tiger Models DeHaviland Beaver 118". I want to put a turbo prop on one and am looking to get some info on the plane. Searches do nothing, but bring me to their homepage. It must be pretty rare.

Just do a search for "Easy Tiger", or possibly "ET models". You will find tons of reading. The majority of posters have nothing good to say, about the company, or the models, however, there are several who think the sun rises and sets at ET.

Have you by any chance looked at this Beaver by Mr. Aerodesign of Canada?

Its nice, but too small. I need something that will carry an 85cc engine.

Hi Octanehuffer;

Go to www.seacommander.com they have a 127" DHC-2 Beaver on floats or wheels. Go to the kits section.
Fiberglass fuse, floats, etc. with wood wing and tail section.
They recommend at least a G-62 sized engine.

Regards
cgcrc

I am going to call on it tomorrow. Thank you cgcrc.
LOL at the recommended setup. Says it must be able to have a 40-60cc engine and able to swing a 20x6 prop to 7400. What 34 lb plane will have a 20x6 prop on it???

I'm a happy customer. Ihave the FW190 and P47, if the P51 had come out eariler I would have gotten that instead, beacause it's prettier. Ithink they are great value for the money and well built, you can't scratch build or build a kit for less than the Arfs tehse days, just how it is.
I do not have teh beaver but Ihave seen it on the website, and in the photos they are being built on the same production line as the FW190, at teh same time, made the same way, if it is anythihg like my FW190 you will be pleased.
