Default top flight stinson engine help

I want to put in a 4 stroke. the manual has it calling for an OS 160 twin. the plane will approach 20 lbs when complete. is that really enough? all I am going to do is scale flight but you always need asome reserve for those oops times. any suggestions? i like the 4 stroke sound.

Had a OS FS-120 Gemini on my 1/4 scale cub that weighes 17 lbs. Flew well but with marginal power no stunts here. The 160 would have been the ultimate in performance and sound effect, very relalistc. I think the 160 will do well with a 20lb plane. Enjoy

I saw a TF Stinson like yours fly with the OS 160 at a scale rally a few weeks ago.

Not sure of the weight but it seemed to fly fine, not like a Pitts mind you but far better than a full size Stinson ever would.

I have the Magnum 160 in a low winger at about 15 pounds & it also has plenty of go, the OS should be able to easily produce more power than it's copy. - John.
